2-Day Angkor Wat & Kompong Phluk Tour



Spend two days touring the Angkor Park sights, including the three main temples and also visit the floating village at Kompong Phluk.

A choice of air-conditioned vehicles is available to suit small to large groups.

A professional English-speaking guide is included.

Each day there is a free hotel pickup and drop-off and a stop for lunch at a local eatery. Lunches, however, are at guest expense.


Details

DAY ONE starts at 8:30am and lasts about eight hours. We pick you up and visit Angkor Thom where guests see Bayon, Baphoun, and Ta Phrom temples plus the Elephant & Leper King Terraces. After lunch we continue to Angkor Wat, finishing with the sunset at Phnom Bakeng. Drop-off at your hotel is at about 6:30pm.

DAY TWO starts at 5:00am and lasts about 12 hours. After pick-up we then have a quick drive to Angkor Wat to watch the sunrise. After sunrise, the vehicle returns to the hotel so that guests can get their breakfast. Once finished, we go far out of town to visit the beautiful ladies temple called Banteay Srei. On the way we stop at a village to see palm sugar being made (or alternatively, we can visit the landmine museum). We also stop to see Banteay Samre and Pre Rup temples. After a light lunch we proceed to Kompong Phluk at Tonle Sap lake and enjoy a motorised boat trip around the village (or alternatively we can visit Preah Khan, Neak Poan, Ta Som and East Mebon temples). We return to town about 5:00pm.
